EmBRACE Ministries

Located in Matthews, NC, our mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, for it is in Christ alone that we find hope.

"Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6

We use bracelets to provide a simple, approachable way to share the gospel with everyone in any setting. Do you know what the colors on this bracelet represent?

The EmBRACE Salvation Bracelet

The Story of the colors:

The GOLD bead represents God's glory, and the streets of gold in heaven. God created the whole world, including you. God also created you to have a relationship with Him. The first two people created, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God and broke mankind's relationship with Him.

The dark BLOCK represents sin. Sin is death in our hearts that blocks us from God. It is also anything that you say, think or do that does not please God. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God". The Bible also says that sin must be punished. Our punishment is to be separated from God forever. But God has made a way for you to not be separated from Him.

The RED bead represents the blood of Jesus. Jesus is God's son. He lived a perfect life and when He was grown, wicked men nailed Him to a cross. The Bible says in Hebrews 9:22 "that no one can be forgiven without the giving of blood". Jesus gave his blood for you. His sacrifice was so powerful that three days after He died and was buried, He came back to life, defeating the death and sin that was keeping you from God.

The CLEAN bead represents a clean heart. In Romans 10:9, God says that "if you declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved". Saved means forgiven and clean. It means to be right with God and to never be separated from Him again. To receive a clean heart, believe in Jesus, tell God you have sin, and ask Him to take it away.

The GREEN bead represents growing. When you ask God to forgive you, you become his child. God wants you to get to know Him better and to grow to be more like Him. You can grow by: talking to God (praying); reading and obeying the Bible; being baptized; telling others about Jesus; and going to a Bible believing church. As God's child, He wants to hear everything about you. Tell Him about good thinks and mistakes, too. He really cares.

If you want to have a clean heart

But aren't quite sure how to get one, simply talk to Jesus in the prayer below and ask Him for your new clean heart. Pray: Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins and came back to life. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

How are we growing His Kingdom?

"Therefore, we are Christ’s representatives, and through us God is calling you. We beg you on behalf of Christ to become reunited with God. God had Christ, who was sinless, take our sin so that we might receive God’s approval through him."
